James began his career in Group Pension Scheme operations for Lloyds and Halifax, gaining valuable experience in financial management and corporate strategy. His passion for business development led him to pursue a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), along with Developing Leadership Excellence qualifications.
In April 2009, James joined The Belmore Centre, bringing a fresh, strategic approach to business operations. In 2014, he acquired the business and set out to elevate its potential. Since then, he has significantly expanded its room capacity, team, and client base. Under his leadership, The Belmore Centre has flourished into a premier destination for holistic wellness, beauty, and skincare services.
Always keen to stay ahead of industry trends, James has attended numerous leadership, digital marketing, and accounting courses, applying his deep understanding of digital trends to grow the business and enhance its online presence.
His leadership philosophy centres around creating a positive and motivated team environment, where the workplace feels more like a family. James fosters a fun and engaged culture, with a strong focus on work-life balance and genuine staff wellbeing. He believes that when people feel supported, valued, and inspired, they thrive — and so does the business.

In May 2023, James acquired The Karma Clinic, seamlessly integrating it into The Belmore Centre. This strategic move strengthened the brand, offering clients a comprehensive range of aesthetic, skincare, and healthcare services under one trusted roof.
Beyond Business: A Full Life of Passion & Family
While leading two thriving businesses, James is also a full-time dad to a beautiful 12-year-old daughter and enjoys spending quality time with his partner and her two children, aged 12 and 16. He takes pride in balancing the demands of business with the joys of family life and makes sure time together is always a priority.
Outside of work, James has a lifelong passion for music—having DJ’d internationally and co-owned a music festival for over a decade. An avid snow skier and wakeboarder, he thrives on adventure, discipline, and creativity—values that reflect in his leadership style.
