Profhilo®: Initial Consultation
The initial consultation is an important first step when looking into anti-ageing treatments such as Profhilo®. Your consultation will be with our Aesthetic Prescribing Nurse who will answer any questions you may have, and explain how the treatment process works. You will need to share information about your health and wellbeing, and will be asked questions to determine what it is you are looking to achieve from your Profhilo® treatment.
How does Profhilo® work?
Profhilo® works by using ultra-pure hyaluronic acid, which is precisely injected into the treatment area. Profhilo® works differently to Dermal Filler treatments, by stimulating collagen and elastin, and hydrating the skin by attracting water into deeper layers of the skin.
Profhilo®: The treatment process
Profhilo® continues to work over time, with the stimulation of four different types of collagen and elastin taking place by a slow release of hyaluronic acid.
